Had a day last week where every single screw strip out on me
I was doing a ceiling job out in Bakersfield, nothing fancy, just 5/8 fire code on a garage. But man, every third screw just wouldnt grab right. Tried my collated gun, tried my regular screw gun, even tried hand driving a few. Ended up having to pull like 40 screws and redo them. What kinda drywall you guys use that gives you the least screw popping?

Buddy of mine had the same thing happen with some cheap board from a lumber yard closeout sale.

Gotta be honest man, that sounds like a frustrating day but maybe a little overblown lol. Screws stripping out that often usually means the gun's clutch is set wrong or you're hitting steel studs with a coarse thread screw. Or your drywall was damp or something. I've done ceiling jobs where the board had a weird outer layer that just crushed before the screw bit in. But pulling 40 screws seems like overkill unless they were actually spinning and not holding.
