Had a brutal Monday that turned into my best day of the year

Started at 7am hanging board in a basement and the layout was all off. Had to cut 12 sheets twice cause the prints didn't match the real walls. By noon I was ready to quit. Then the homeowner brought us lunch and tipped $200 cash on a small job. Made up for the whole mess. Anyone else have days that flip like that out of nowhere?

Maybe it's just me but I always think the worst days end up being the best ones in construction. Something about the struggle making the win feel sweeter. That $200 tip probably felt like winning the lottery after cutting those sheets twice.
