Bought a cheap corner trowel off Amazon, surprised it actually worked

Had to tape 40 corners in a basement remodel last month, figured the $9 trowel would be junk but it held up better than my old $30 one, anyone else find budget tools that beat the pros?

Wait, did yours come with that weird little plastic handle that feels like it'll snap in half? I grabbed the same kind of thing for taping off a bathroom reno last summer. Honestly thought I'd be throwing it out after like five corners. Still use it every week now. My old one from the big box store was twice the price and the blade wobbled after a month. This cheap one has stayed straight as an arrow. Guess sometimes the knockoff brands just get it right.
