When our sediment barrier turned into a duck playground
We were working on a lake cleanup project recently, using those new biodegradable silt curtains. The idea was to stop sediment spread and help the water clear up faster. But things got silly when a family of ducks decided the curtains were perfect for playing hide and seek. They kept swimming through the barriers, making holes and chasing each other around our equipment. My crew spent half the day gently shooing them away without harming them or the curtains. In the end, the ducks had a great time, and we still managed to finish the job with a good laugh. It reminded me that even with the best eco plans, nature has its own ideas.

Lol, nature's chaos beats our best plans every time.
