Switching from paper logs to a tablet on the dredge, 6 months in
I used to keep all my depth and pump readings in a spiral notebook, which worked fine until a hose burst soaked it in the Morgan City channel last July. Now I punch everything into a cheap tablet with a glove-friendly stylus, plus it backs up to the cloud automatically. Anyone else make the jump and find the battery life becomes your new daily worry?
