Ran my suction line backwards for 18 months until a guy in Baton Rouge laughed at me
I was on a job near the Mississippi and this old timer asked why my cutterhead was spinning the wrong way, turns out I had the hydraulic hoses crossed the whole time and just thought the slow cut was normal. Fixed it in 5 minutes and dug triple the material that afternoon, has anyone else had a setup mistake that took way too long to spot?
