Had a perfect 8 hour stretch on the Mississippi Tuesday

We were working a tight spot near a barge dock and I managed to clear 180 cubic yards without a single clog. The material was that nasty silty clay that usually gums up the cutterhead every 45 minutes. My deckhand even said 'I don't think I've seen you smile that much on a Tuesday.' Has anyone else hit a weirdly good groove like that where everything just clicks?

180 yards in silty clay without a clog is a solid run, but it's still just a Tuesday. You're acting like you solved world hunger because your cutterhead didn't gum up for a few hours. Plenty of guys do that kind of work every day without calling it a "weirdly good groove." Pat yourself on the back for not having to stop and clean out, but it's not that deep.
