Finally cleared that old logging debris from the river bend near Milltown

Three years ago, we started a channel project there and kept hitting huge snags that would stall the cutterhead for hours. Last month, we brought in a modified suction head with a pre-cutter, and last week we finished that section without a single major clog. What's your go-to method for dealing with heavy woody debris in a silt bed?

Welcome to the club, man. My whole weekend plan just went out the window watching that smooth cut. Guess we're all just cavemen with tools until we see someone do it right. Time to add another thing to the shopping list I can't afford.
