Figured out a way to keep my cutterhead from plugging up in heavy clay

I was fighting constant clogs in this spot near the Mississippi delta until I tried running the swing winch in short bursts instead of a steady pull, and it cleared the material way better. Anyone else found a weird trick that works against the grain of conventional wisdom?

And there's a reason nobody mentions it - most guys are too proud to admit their machine bogged down in the first place. Did you have to adjust your tension at all after switching to the burst method?

Nah I kept the same tension and it ran fine lol. Honestly think people just blame the machine when their technique is the actual problem.
