Despite what the crew says, I think running the cutter head slow in thick mud is a mistake.

I mean, idk, but I've found that a higher rpm actually cuts cleaner and puts less strain on the whole system, maybe it's just me.

But like, how big of a mistake are we talking? Sometimes it feels like people treat every little choice like it'll break the whole dredge. Isn't there some room for different setups working better for different types of mud? Maybe it's not as black and white as the crew makes it sound, you know? What's the worst that's happened when someone ran it slow?

Running it slow lets the mud settle and weld everything into one solid brick.
