Worst drafting week I had in 5 years - lost a whole set of plans

Last Wednesday I had this nightmare day where my CAD file corrupted right before the deadline. I was working on a 12-page set for a commercial build in Portland and lost 3 days of work. The IT guy said my auto-save wasn't even running lol. Has anyone else dealt with a file corruption that bad and actually recovered the data?

Man that sucks but honestly I gotta say the opposite here. Auto save not running is on you not the software. I refuse to believe you went 3 days without noticing your files weren't saving. Like did you not hit save even once in 72 hours? That's a personal problem not a CAD problem. Plus real talk if you lost a whole 12 page set that means you weren't backing up externally either. Dropbox or Google Drive or even a thumb drive would have saved you. You gotta own this one.
