Had a week where every single duct run fought me

Last Tuesday I started on a medium sized commercial job and nothing lined up. The prints had the ducts going through a beam that didn't exist on site, so I had to call the engineer and wait 45 minutes for a revision. Then my plasma cutter decided to die halfway through cutting a 24 gauge sheet, just stopped mid-cut. By Thursday I was three days behind and my foreman was giving me that look. Anyone else ever have a whole job just fight you from the first measurement? How do you bounce back when the schedule is already blown?

Damn, that sounds like the universe just decided to screw with you personally that week. I'd probably just show up the next day and hope my tools forget I'm a hack.
