A field rep from Milwaukee changed how I set my drawing scale

I used to just trust the template scale in AutoCAD and move on. Then last month a GC's field rep named Dave pointed at a section detail on my prints and said 'this is gonna come back as a 2 inch discrepancy on site.' He showed me how the title block scale was lying because I'd edited the viewport without checking the annotative scale. Now I verify every single viewport against the model space dims before I send it out. Has anyone else had a client catch a scale screw up and totally flip their workflow?

Dave from Milwaukee saved your butt, had a super catch a 1/4 inch off last year on a stair detail.
