Why does nobody talk about how the 89 cent canned chicken at Dollar Tree actually shreds better than the $4 grocery store rotisserie?

I spent last Sunday making buffalo chicken dip for a party and after trying both side by side the dollar store can stuff came out way less stringy and held up better mixed with the cream cheese, anyone else notice this or did I just get lucky with a weird batch?

Come on now, you're telling me that mystery meat puck from a can beat out a real rotisserie bird that has actual skin and bones? That canned stuff has the texture of wet cardboard no matter how you shred it.

Oh man, you're really gonna do my canned chicken dirty like that? Look, I get that fresh rotisserie has that crispy skin and all, but there's something to be said for a can of chicken when you're in a pinch. It's consistent, it's already cooked, and you don't have to worry about bones or gristle sneaking up on you. Plus, if you season it right and shred it up with some mayo and celery, that stuff makes a solid chicken salad that holds up way better than the leftover rotisserie meat that dries out in the fridge after a day.
