One comment on my chili post changed how I buy canned beans
Someone pointed out I was paying 50 cents more per can at the chain store when the dollar store brand tastes the same in my 3-bean chili. Now I stock up there every first Tuesday and save about $4 a week, plus I actually drain and rinse them now instead of dumping the liquid in.
