My aunt swore by Dollar Tree pasta sauce and she was totally right

My aunt told me to skip the name brand pasta sauce and grab the 1.25 jar from Dollar Tree instead. I figured it would be watery or taste like ketchup but I gave it a shot last week. I mixed it with their store brand spaghetti and a can of their diced tomatoes for extra texture. Honestly it was way better than the 4 dollar jar I usually get from Walmart. The sauce had actual chunks of tomato and wasn't too sweet. Has anyone else found a surprise hit from the dollar store that you were skeptical about at first?

Did you see that taste test video where someone tried all the cheap sauces and Dollar Tree actually ranked pretty high? I think it was on some food blog last month. Honestly I might have to grab a jar next time I'm there.
