Just realized I've been overpaying for canned tomatoes at the regular store

I compared the 99 cent canned tomatoes at Dollar Tree to the $1.79 ones at my local Kroger and honestly couldn't taste a difference in my chili after 3 tries. Has anyone else switched over and noticed certain dollar store brands work better for specific dishes?

Nah you're totally wrong the Kroger ones have way more flavor in mine.

Haha you're really gonna die on the Kroger hill huh. I'll bring you a sample of the Publix ones next time and we can settle this like adults.
