Just managed 4 meals from one dollar store roast chicken
Last Tuesday I grabbed that whole rotisserie chicken at Dollar Tree for $4.25. Shredded it up and stretched it across chicken salad sandwiches, a pot pie using their pie crust mix, soup with their canned veggies, and then tacos with their tortillas and seasoning. Total cost for all 4 meals was maybe $8.50 with the extras I bought... anybody else have go-to ways to stretch a dollar store chicken farther?

Buy a fresh chicken instead, tastes better and you save money per pound.

That chicken fat makes killer broth if you boil the bones with some dollar store garlic powder and salt.
