My bathroom vanity drawer fell apart after only 6 months

I built a custom vanity for our half bath in Austin back in February, used some cheap slides from the hardware store, and one drawer just dropped off its track last weekend. Turns out I overtightened the screws and cracked the particle board backing. Has anyone had luck reinforcing those thin drawer bottoms with something simple?

Broke my vanity drawer the same way last year, guess I was just really committed to keeping those screws in place. A little wood glue and some corner brackets did the trick for me.

Used to think wood glue was only for craft projects and model airplanes. Never really trusted it for anything structural. Then my own bathroom cabinet hinge pulled clean out of the particle board. Picked up some Titebond and a couple small L brackets from the hardware store, cost maybe 8 bucks total. That was two years ago and the door still lines up perfect. Changed my whole view on what that stuff can handle.
