Pulled up carpet in the hallway on a Tuesday and found 60 year old oak under it
Took me 4 hours with a pry bar and a lot of swearing, but the wood underneath is in better shape than the laminate I was about to buy at $3.50 a square foot. Now I'm scared to sand it wrong, so what grit should I start with on old oak that has some dark water stains near the bathroom door?
