Neighbor showed me a trick with his wet/dry vac that changed how I clean my garage

I was out sweeping up sawdust from a weekend project and my neighbor Ron came over to chat. He said I should stop using a broom and just get one of those $30 bucket attachments for my shop vac. I tried his setup on a pile of drywall dust last Saturday and it cut the cleanup time down from 45 minutes to maybe 10. Has anyone else found a simple attachment that made a big difference in their workshop?

Read somewhere that a Dust Deputy cyclone separator saves your vac filters for way longer. Did it help with the drywall dust clumping issue?

@drew_chen it works great until the clumps form a pyramid in the bucket, then you're back to square one.
