Gonna disagree with the tape trick, honestly. The tape just gives you grip on the pipe itself, but if the nut is truly stuck, you're just delaying the moment it strips again. Better to spend that 10 minutes on a proper penetrating oil and a good six-point socket on a breaker bar. Tape feels like a workaround for a tool that doesn't fit right, not a fix for a seized fitting. Glad it worked for you, but I've seen tape turn a quick job into an afternoon of picking rubber out of threads.
