Found out my house has 47 windows while trying to replace one screen

I was fixing a busted screen on my back porch door and got curious about the total count... so I walked around with a notepad. Turns out my 1950s bungalow in Springfield has 47 separate windows, including the tiny basement ones. The hardware store guy laughed when I told him and said most houses around here average about 25. Has anyone else ended up counting something wild during a simple fix?

That's a crazy number of windows. Did you find any weird ones you never noticed before? I'd be curious what the original builder was thinking.

Oh man, found one in a closet. A full size window just staring at the wall. Totally blocked by shelves now. Builder must have had a ton of glass left over. Or maybe they just really hated dark closets. Makes zero sense.
