A contractor at Home Depot told me to try blue tape for removing dried paint and that tip saved my trim.

Try leaving the blue tape on for 24 hours before peeling it off though (the heat from the sun helps loosen the paint bond underneath). Most people yank it off too fast and end up with torn bits stuck to the trim, then they're picking at it with a razor blade for an hour. The cheap stuff from dollar stores doesn't have enough grip either, so stick with name brand tape for this trick.

Yeah I tried dollar store tape once and it just peeled off on its own after an hour in the sun.
