Wasted $60 on a fancy cable management kit that made things worse
Honestly, I bought one of those under-desk trays with all the velcro straps and clips for $60, but it just created a tangled mess under my desk. The clips fell off after three days and the tray sagged with my power strip. Has anyone else had better luck with just zip ties or something cheaper?

Zip ties are honestly the way to go lol. I tried those fancy trays and clips too and they just made everything worse. I bought a big pack of reusable velcro ties off Amazon for like $8 and it worked way better. Stick the power strip to the underside of your desk with some 3M command strips, bundle the cables with the velcro, and zip tie the heavy ones to the desk leg. Way cheaper and it actually stays put. Plus if you move stuff around later you can just undo the velcro instead of cutting zip ties every time lol.

Oh wow, has anyone tried just using binder clips? I saw this trick where you clip them along the edge of your desk and thread cables through the little metal loops - keeps everything visible and easy to move without any sticky residue or sagging trays.
