That time my monitor stand gave out mid-raid
Three years ago I was raiding in my basement in Cleveland. Heard a crack, then my monitor just dropped. Found out the cheap plywood I used for the stand had a knot right in the stress point. Scavenged a solid oak shelf from an old dresser, cut it to size, and drilled new holes. Lasted way longer than that plywood ever did. Anyone else have a desk part fail at the worst possible moment?
