My monitor arm setup took a year to actually look good
So I built my desk back in April last year. Looked great at first. Then the cables just started taking over. Velcro straps helped for a bit but after three months it was a mess again. I finally caved and bought a proper cable tray for $22 on Amazon. That plus some adhesive clips changed everything. Now when I glance under the desk it's actually clean. No wires dangling down to the floor. The before and after difference is night and day. Has anyone else taken way too long to fix cable management?

Why bother hiding cables when they're just gonna get dusty and tangled again anyway?
