Actually tried those cheap cable clips from Amazon - they work

I spent $8 on a pack of 50 adhesive cable clips last week and figured they'd fall off by day two. But they're still holding my monitor cable and keyboard wire perfectly along the bottom of my desk. The trick was cleaning the surface with rubbing alcohol first before sticking them on. Anyone else have a budget cable management tool that surprised them?

Oh man, that is rough and honestly kind of terrifying. I can only imagine trying to get back into the game after three shelves just gave up on you like that. Hope you didn't get a black eye from the unexpected attack, that would be a weird story to tell people.
