Tried to swap my brake pads on Saturday and the caliper bolt snapped clean off
I watched a 12 minute video on YouTube and figured pads would take maybe an hour in my driveway. Got the wheel off fine, pulled the first pad, then the lower caliper bolt snapped and the whole thing is frozen in the bracket now. I sprayed it with PB Blaster and let it sit overnight but it still won't budge, and now my car is stuck on jack stands. Do I bite the bullet and buy an extractor kit or is this something a shop needs to drill out?
