TIL those $8 harbor freight jack stands at the Franklin swap meet have a date stamp problem

I was at the Franklin flea market last Saturday and saw a guy selling a bunch of old jack stands, they all had cracks near the welds and the pins were rusted stuck. Check the manufacturing date on the base before you buy used ones, anyone else run into sketchy stands at swap meets?
