TIL the hard way why you never trust a $15 torque wrench from a gas station

Last Tuesday in Phoenix I snapped 2 wheel studs on my old Civic using that cheap wrench to hit 80 ft-lbs, and the guy at AutoZone laughed so hard he lent me his Snap-On for free, so has anyone else had a bargain tool straight up lie to them?
