Talked to my neighbor Bill about my oil change routine (he fixed cars for 30 years)

I was changing my oil last weekend and my neighbor Bill came over to borrow my torque wrench. He saw me putting jack stands under the frame rails and told me I was doing it wrong for my 2015 Civic. Turns out there are specific jack points near the pinch welds that are way safer and won't dent anything. Has anyone else been told they're lifting their car wrong by a random garage hero?

Oh man, did you have that moment too where you just suddenly realized how much you were missing? I was the same way, I'd just guess at everything until I finally started paying closer attention and it made a huge difference.
