Switched from a torque wrench to a beam style for wheel lugs, no regrets

Used to do all my lug nuts with a click type torque wrench, but it kept losing calibration after dropping it once. Picked up a simple beam style from autozone for like 25 bucks and honestly it's way easier to use on the ground. I just watch the needle hit the mark instead of guessing if the click was the wrench or a joint cracking. Has anyone else gone back to the old school beam type after dealing with finicky clickers?
