Pro tip: I read that a clogged cabin air filter can drop your AC's cooling power by almost 40%

Found that stat in my car's manual while looking up a weird smell, and it explained why my vents felt so weak last summer. Anyone know a good way to check the filter location on a 2015 Civic without taking the whole dash apart?

Mine's actually under the hood near the windshield.

That's a crazy drop in power, makes total sense. Your Civic's filter is usually behind the glove box, not in the dash. You can just drop the glove box down by pushing in the sides. Have you already tried that, or did you run into a hidden clip or something? I remember my old car had a sneaky little stopper arm you had to unclip first.
