My neighbor's driveway went from a clean slab to a Jackson Pollock painting in under a month.

He tried to change his own oil and forgot the drain plug, so his old Ford dripped a fresh quart every time he parked. Anyone else have a simple job that went spectacularly wrong?

Tried to replace a light switch and somehow cut power to the whole block.

Wait, how do you even cut power to the whole block from a light switch? @jenny_carr52, did you maybe mess with the main breaker panel instead of the switch box? I've seen people trip the main breaker by accident when they're working in there.

Heard someone say it could trip the whole neighborhood if you cross a neutral wire wrong.
