Always thought those cheap fluid extractors were a scam...
I spent $20 on a manual oil extractor from Harbor Freight last year for my 2008 Civic. Just used it for the third time and it pulled out a full 4 quarts no problem. Anyone else find a budget tool that actually works better than expected?

Funny you mention that, I picked up a similar little pump from an auto parts store for about fifteen bucks a few years ago. It's still going strong on my old Corolla, and I've done at least six or seven changes with it now. Sometimes the simple, no-frills tools really do hold up just fine.
