Tried building my own workbench from pallet wood...

The top ended up warping after just 2 weeks because I didn't let the wood dry long enough, and now I'm stuck figuring out if I should sand it all down or just start over with new lumber.

Oh man, that is SO frustrating! I've been there with the whole "I know better than the wood" mentality. Who needs patience when you have a DREAM, right? Honestly I would just start over with kiln dried lumber from the hardware store instead of fighting with that warped top. Trying to sand it flat will drive you absolutely CRAZY and it'll probably just warp again anyway. Plus pallet wood can be really sketchy with hidden nails and mystery chemicals soaked into it. Trust me, your sanity is worth more than those few bucks you saved on free wood.

Who needs patience when you have a DREAM" lol okay but it's a workbench not a piece of fine furniture. Sanding down a warped top isn't that big of a deal if you've got a random orbit sander and some time on a Saturday. Starting over just because of a little warp seems like overkill when you could prob just flip it over and bolt it down tight.
