Pro tip: draw your cuts on a scrap of plywood before touching the good stuff
Lost track of how many boards I ruined over the years by measuring straight off the plan, but marking everything on a $6 scrap sheet in the garage first cut my screw ups down to almost nothing. Anyone else keep a 'dummy board' hanging around for this?
