Overheard two guys arguing about cordless vs corded miter saws at the lumberyard

One guy swore his cordless DeWalt was fine for framing, but the other said you lose too much power and a corded Makita is the only real option. I've been saving for a new saw and this got me stuck. For a serious DIYer building a shed, is cordless actually good enough now?

What's your power outlet situation like for the shed build?

Man oh man, I hear you. I bought a cordless saw once thinking I was being all modern and cool, then spent the first hour of every project just swapping batteries like a fool. My shop looks like a toy graveyard of half charged stuff.
