My shed went from a leaning mess to a solid box in one weekend
The old shed in my yard was leaning about 4 inches to the left, and I figured it was a lost cause. I spent Saturday jacking it up with a car jack and some 4x4 posts, then sistered new studs to the old, rotten ones. By Sunday afternoon, it was perfectly square and I could actually shut the door without shoving it. Has anyone else fixed a structure that looked way worse than it actually was?

That "looked way worse than it actually was" line is spot on. I had a deck step that was totally spongy and sagging. I was sure the whole frame was rotten. Pulled up the boards and it was just one bad joist end where water pooled. Cut out the bad section, sistered in a new piece of pressure treated wood, and bolted it all together. Felt like a total win for a Saturday morning and a twenty dollar piece of lumber.

But that "total win" could hide bigger rot you didn't find.
