I used to think those cheap laser levels from the discount tool aisle were just toys.

But after using one to square up a built-in bookshelf last weekend, I was shocked it was accurate to within 1/8th of an inch over 6 feet. Has anyone else found a budget tool that actually performs?

Oh man, totally. Harbor Freight bar clamps. I bought a bunch for a glue up, thinking they'd be junk and just get me through one project. They're honestly fine. I've used them for years now and they still work great. Makes you wonder what else we're overpaying for.
