I finally fixed my sagging garage door with a 2x4 and some patience
Last month in Wichita, my garage door started scraping the concrete every time it closed. Took me three weekends to figure out the bottom bracket had shifted about a half inch. Instead of calling the $300 repair guy, I wedged a 2x4 under the track, loosened the bolts, and tapped it back with a hammer. Took 20 minutes once I stopped overthinking it. Door still closes tight a month later. Anyone else had luck fixing garage hardware with basic lumber instead of ordering parts?
