Framing nailer vs. hand nailing a shed floor - the air gun made more sense for my back but I'm not convinced it was faster

After spending 6 hours last Saturday on a 10x12 shed foundation in Greenville, I think the hammer was actually quicker because I spent half that time untangling air hose and fighting a misfire, has anyone else noticed cordless nailers are a different beast altogether?

You mentioned "fighting a misfire" and that hits home. Was it the cheap coil nails or was the gun actually gunked up? I ran through a box of rusty clipped-heads once and spent more time pulling nails than driving them.

Respectfully, I gotta push back a little on that. Cheap nails are annoying for sure, but a misfire is almost always the gun being gunked up or not oiled right (especially with coil nailers, they're needy). Those rusty clipped-heads just made it worse, but your gun was probably the real problem.
