Can we talk about people who use pressure treated wood for indoor furniture?

I was at a garage sale in Toledo last month and saw a dude selling a whole bedroom set he built himself. Looked solid. Then I flipped a nightstand over and saw the stamp. PT lumber. For a bed frame. I told him that stuff offgasses and can warp inside. He said he'd been doing it for years. Has anyone else run into people using the wrong wood for indoor projects? How do you even convince someone to redo it?

Yikes, watched a guy build a whole treehouse bed from PT and his kid got nosebleeds.

Oh man, I've been there. I just told someone straight up that I wouldn't sit on their deck furniture if it was inside my house and offered to help them swap out the lumber for some regular pine.
