Rear derailleur hanger snapped on a group ride last Saturday

Five miles from the coffee stop, chain wrapped around the cassette and bent the hanger so bad I had to walk the bike back, anyone else carry a spare hanger for their specific frame now?

...and that's EXACTLY why I now have a spare hanger taped inside my frame bag on every ride. I mean yeah, you can sometimes bend them back but honestly they're like $20 and the frame is a lot more. My buddy had one snap on a gravel ride last fall, tried to keep riding and the derailleur went straight into the spokes. Ripped three spokes clean out, totaled his wheel. Now he carries a spare too. Sucks you had to walk that far back though, nothing worse than hoofing it with a broken bike.

oh man I had a buddy blow his out on a fast descent last year and the whole derailleur got eaten by the rear wheel, trashed the frame and the wheel in like two seconds flat. now he keeps a spare in his jersey pocket on every long ride.
