Rant: Guy at the bike co-op in Portland bugged me about my rear derailleur for 20 minutes
I went to the co-op on Saturday to use their stand and swap my cassette, and this older guy kept hovering, pointing at my derailleur hanger and saying it was "out of alignment by a hair" before I even asked. He grabbed the alignment tool and started twisting it without asking, and then walked off when I said I just wanted to do it myself. Is this normal at co-ops or did I catch a bad day, because I've got a bent hanger now and no clue if he helped or hurt it?
