Tried coworking at a library instead of a cafe in Lisbon last week

I was spending $12 a day on coffee at cafes just to use the wifi. The library was free, silent, and had plugs everywhere. Anyone else found a cheap alternative that actually works better?

libraries are such a hack honestly. i remember when i was in porto i found this one that had a cafe inside but the wifi was still free and quiet. ended up staying there for like 6 hours one day and the coffee was only like 1.50 each. plus the old building had these huge windows and i got so much work done. sounds like you found a good spot too.
