TIL that coworking space in Chiang Mai was totally right about the 3-month rule

I was dead set against that coworking hub's advice to stay at least 3 months in one spot. Ended up booking only 6 weeks in Pai and by week 5 I was scrambling for stable internet and a decent desk. Has anyone else ignored local advice and regretted it?

Oh, come on. Is scrambling for wifi really that big of a deal? You could have just hit up a 7-11 for a cheap desk and used your phone hotspot for a week. People act like slow internet is a life or death situation when it's just a minor hassle.
