Honestly, I used to think any cafe with wifi was fine for work. Then I spent 3 months hopping around Bali and bounced between noisy spots, dead outlets, and tables that wobbled. Last month in Chiang Mai I paid $180 for a month at a place with stable fiber, private booths, and a quiet floor where nobody takes calls. The before and after difference in my focus was night and day, I got more client work done in a week than I did in a month before.
