That "luxury" coworking space in Bali took my card info and ran
I booked a month at this place in Canggu last week that had amazing photos online. Showed up and the building was a half-finished concrete shell with one fan and no wifi. They charged me $450 upfront and when I tried to get a refund, the owner just laughed and walked away. Has anyone else gotten scammed by a coworking spot that looked way better in the listing?

Ngl I got burned by "Bali Base" in Ubud last year, same deal - slick pics online but it was basically a dusty parking lot with a kettle and some plastic chairs.

Read something online about fake listings being super common there lately.
